This notice explains how we handle your personal data when you join the waitlist for The Yellow Book of Brand Building or subscribe to updates from Michal Pastier on michalpastier.com.
1. Who we are

2. What data we collect
Your email address, which you enter in the sign-up form.
Technical sign-up data recorded by our email provider: the date and time you signed up, the form you used, and basic information about how you interact with our emails (for example, whether an email was opened or a link was clicked).
We do not ask for any other personal data.
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
We use your email address to:
let you know when the English edition of The Yellow Book of Brand Building is available, and
send you occasional updates related to the book and Michal Pastier's work on brand building.
If we start a regular newsletter, we will tell you in advance, and you can unsubscribe with one click.
The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it.
4. Who processes your data on our behalf
beehiiv, Inc. (USA) provides our email platform. It stores your email address and sends our emails.
Framer B.V. (Rozengracht 207B, 1016 LZ Amsterdam, the Netherlands) hosts our website. Framer's built-in analytics are anonymised: they do not collect personal data from visitors and do not use cookies.
Because beehiiv is based in the United States, your data may be transferred outside the EU. These transfers are protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses included in beehiiv's Data Protection Addendum.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent. After that, we delete it or keep only the minimum needed to make sure we don't email you again.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
access your personal data,
have it corrected,
have it deleted,
restrict its processing,
receive it in a portable format,
object to its processing,
withdraw your consent at any time.
To unsubscribe, click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails. For anything else, write to consulting@gobigname.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:
